Christy joined the Forestview Manor Team in 2014 with a strong passion for enhancing the quality of life of seniors. Christy is passionate about teamwork, communication and a community full of love and laughter. She started her first day dancing in the lobby with one of the residents and loves interacting with them. Christy is a hands-on leader who feels fulfilled when she is able to connect with residents and staff in meaningful ways. When she is not in the community she loves hiking, running and spending time with her dog Riley.
Leigh joined the Forestview Manor team over three years ago. She started as a caregiver and has worked hard to be promoted to the Director of Community Relations. She is passionate about working with seniors and providing the best care in a homelike setting for them. When she is not at work, Leigh loves spending time with her daughter, hiking and swimming.
Janis has been the Business Office Manager at Forestview Manor since 2011. This position encompasses Human Resources as well. She spent many years as a business office manager at automotive dealerships. But now, Janis cannot imagine her life before working at Forestview! The residents mean the world to her, and she is very proud of our hardworking staff. It makes her day when she can support one of our Directors or a Business Manager from one of the other Woodbine communities. In her quiet time Janis likes to walk, read, bake, go to movies and spend time with her family.
Angie has worked at Forestview Manor for over 20 years. She has an Associate Degree in Human Services and holds a current NH LNA / MNA license. Angie enjoys spending time with our residents, and considers them her family. She has specialized training in Dementia Care from the Alzheimer’s Association. When she is not at Forestview, Angie enjoys spending time with her two dogs, her husband and five children, hunting, fishing, and auto racing.
Kristen is thrilled to live, work and play in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Whether strolling the grounds of our Meredith community with a beloved resident, hiking, boating or motorcycle riding through backcountry roads, she brings an upbeat, positive attitude. At work, she shares her tremendous dedication and passion with residents, families and staff. At home, Kristen loves spending time with her son, Jonathan. He is full of imagination and energy that keeps Kristen on her toes.
Ashley graduated from Keene State College with a music education major and a minor in French. When her grandparents became ill, she decided that she wanted to help people in a different way. After meeting some of the residents and falling in love with the community, Ashley got certified as an LNA and joined the Forestview family in December 2006. Ashley later went back to school to get her Associate Degree in Gerontology and Human Services. She became the Activities Director about five years ago. A lifelong learner, Ashley is completing courses to be a Certified Activities Director through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. Ashley lives in the Lakes Region with her fiancée, her dog and two cats. She enjoys camping, hiking, music, movies and being with family and friends. She plays the flute, and with a lot of practice can play the piano.
Amanda came to Forestview Manor after a 20-year career in childcare. She has a passion for cooking and spent many years working in the restaurant industry for fun after a full day of caring for the little ones! Amanda has also spent time working as a caregiver in home healthcare. Combining her passion for food and her love of caring for people, Forestview Manor was a perfect fit! Amanda started with us as our Baker and has embraced becoming our Director of Dining Services. Amanda believes that food really is the way to a person’s heart. She brings her fresh, home cooked, comfort food approach to the assisted living dining experience. Amanda resides in Holderness with her husband and their two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, cake decorating and spending time with her family.
Heather first started at Forestview Manor in 2009 as an LPN and later was named Director of Nursing. After watching family members going through the process, Heather developed a fondness for the elderly, especially those with memory loss. She is passionate about helping others and making every day a special day for them. Heather brings a calm demeanor and caring attitude to her work with residents, staff and families. When she is not at work, Heather enjoys hiking with her husband and their dog.
Joe Hocker –
Joseph joined Forestview Manor with over 10 years of experience working in and managing the Environmental Services department in hospitals and nursing homes. Joseph is dedicated to making Forestview a clean, safe and beautiful home for our residence. Originally from Long Island, NY Joseph moved to the Laconia in the Fall of 2016 after he and his wife fell in love with the area on vacation. Joseph spends his time outside of Forestview fishing, hunting and exploring the area he now calls home.
